Brittany Ferrell

I am the wife of my wonderful husband, Jerome. We fell in love over fifteen years ago and always wanted to start a family. Even as a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a mother. When I became a teacher eleven years ago, I learned to mother other people’s children (a role I have never taken for granted), but I yearned to have a child of my own.

In my long and arduous journey to motherhood, I battled cancer and infertility. I finally became pregnant and delivered a beautiful baby girl named Audrey on Christmas Day, only to lose her mere hours later. I fought my way back from grief and depression and was granted a miracle. We named her Madeline.
